Pinched End Tohoku roller that measures 5 1/4 inches in length.
This float is quite rare for several reasons:
First, it has a 'pinched end' rather than a seal button. The pinched end was done intentional and is not the result on the seal falling off.
This roller is green in color which is unusual.
Another rare attribute are the beautiful green swirls that emanated from both ends of the float.
There are also remnants of barnacles leaving no doubt that this was a true working float.
Found on Hokkaido Island, Japan.
