Spindles come in all shapes and sizes. This float shows just how strange spindles can get.
This small 2 1/2 inch float has a spindle running parallel to the seal about a 1/4 of an inch underneath it. The spindle is intact and hangs underneath the seal button and then runs the circumference of the float attached to the sides.
There is also some very dark green (almost black) glass melted through the seal and beyond.
This float is stamped with mark WP #25 'Dai' 大.
Found on Hokkaido Island, Japan.
