Rare Side-to-Side Spindle inside this 4 inch float. What makes the free standing spindle so unusual is that it goes side-to-side rather than from the seal to the base of the float.
This is the only one I've ever seen in a regular glass ball that goes side-to-side. There are spindles in tri-mold float that go sideways.
There are also a couple of lightly stamped WP #21 marks on the seal button.
Found on Hokkaido Island, Japan.
