Love these Ribbon Spindles! This one has a thin ribbon spindle with about a half of a twist.

These are great to leave in the sun and watch them slowly turn from a light lavender tint to a deep purple color.

First of all, it has Rivermouth WP #10 in a triangular configuration.
This yellow amber gold color displays really well.
It has net pattern markings.
There are also some barnacle remnants.

Bold stamp of WP #351 maker's mark. It's the Katakana letter "I" encircled ㋑. Perfect mark with all points showing; a little off center.
This mark is typically found on 3 1/2" floats, it's an uncommon mark. But because this maker's mark is on a 2 1/4 inch float, I'm assuming this is a rarer float.
WP #25 'Dai' 大 mark. This tiny mark is only about 1/4 inch tall.

The 'Sunrise' maker's mark is extremely rare.
Hinode Sakura translates to "sunrise in a cherry blossom".
These Japanese glass floats are quite old, too. They are reported to have been produced in the 1920's.

This is a 15 inch spun-fused float. It's quite heavy for its size.
